And your training platform? It knows distance — not drills, not equipment, not send-off times.
Watch a session come together — exactly how your training actually works.
Full session on the detail page, equipment list right up top, load feeds your form curve — and whatever your watch can handle, it gets automatically via intervals.icu.
Workout builder, week templates, drag & drop — plan like a pro, even without a coach.
Plans to your device, workouts back — automatic, both directions, including your zones.
See what's coming before your session — and afterward, as an overlay, exactly how closely you hit the plan.
In the workout builder, pick sport "Swim", add sets with reps and distance, attach a drill from the library (say, kickboard kicks), and tag the equipment you need. Per set you choose either a fixed send-off time or a rest afterward — not both at once, that keeps the structure unambiguous.
Yes, if your Garmin or Wahoo is connected through intervals.icu — Hyspo sends your planned session there automatically, your watch syncs as usual. One honest catch: intervals.icu has no field for a fixed send-off time, so only the plain swim distance reaches your device; the send-off time shows up as text in the set label. No connection? Everything still works manually or via .FIT upload.
Nothing, and that's fine — it's optional. Plain distance sets with no time work just as well, you just won't get an automatic plan-vs-actual comparison for that set. But the moment you do want to work on pace, the structure is already there instead of something you have to reconstruct after the fact.
Yes — that's the whole point of Hyspo. The Hybrid Load Score folds strength AND endurance sessions, swimming included, into one shared fitness/fatigue/form curve, not a separate swim stat on the side.
Most know distance and time — not drill, not equipment, not send-off as its own field. At Hyspo that's the starting point, not a bolt-on: 48 curated drills from strokes to technique work to open water, 7 equipment types, and a detail page that's actually readable poolside.
